The gate on the north side of the highway is a maintenance and emergency access point. There is no parking at this location (either in front of the gate or on the highway shoulder) for accessing the system.

OUR TRAILS

The bulk of purpose built mountain bike single-track trails are found in the area know as Shuniah Mines, within Trowbridge Forest. Approximately 15km of trail winds it’s way through the old silver mining grounds taking full advantage of the unique topography of tailings piles, rock features and a series of small ridge lines. Be on the lookout for signature trails as Grand Chasm, Dagobah, Doctors and a downhill progressive flow line; Hilltop Trail. The area is best known for natural, hand carved tread with plenty of rocks and roots. For those looking to take full advantage of the rugged boreal forest landscape make sure to check out Snakes & Ladders or The Otherside.

The best way to access our trails is to park at Kinsman Park at Trowbridge Falls, from here you can jump on your bike and follow the gravel path until you reach a bridge. Once you cross the bridge, you will see Conveyor Belt directly ahead of you. Conveyor Belt will take you directly to the heart of Shuniah Mines where you can access all of our trails.
