Improvement in Shuniah
This year we’ve taken a huge step forward with our grooming operations in Shuniah. We recently purchase a snowdog tracksled groomer which allows us to machine groom almost all of our singletrack. No more are the days of just relying on snowshoes! With the tracksled, we have been able to pack almost bulletproof trails this winter that withstand all the traffic that Shuniah receives.
As the winter continues we are finding ways to groomer more and more trails and some of the existing trails have even become more enjoyable in the winter with all of the snow covering rough sections and adding rollers along the trail.
If you don’t have a fatbike fear not, our local shops now have rentals this year and will hook you up with a great set of wheels to give it a try.
