International Women’s Mountain Bike Day
Trowbridge/Kinsmen for an easy/social ride
May 4th
12pm – 2pm
This will be followed by drinks at Goods & Co from 2-4pm. (come for one or both parts of the day!)
What you need to know:
The ride is meant for everyone. The point of this day is to get out together. There are many options for where we can ride, depending on conditions and skill level. There is a place for everyone, if you are new to riding or nervous, we have a space for you! Both members and non-members are welcome to participate. So if you are interested in mountain biking and want to ride with a group of great ladies this is the ride for you!
3Ride has generously offered to sponsor this event! They have also offered free and secure bike storage if you will have your bike with you at Goods & Co.
What’s in a name?
Nicki and Ruth have had many conversations about how to name this ride in a way that best reflects our community. We know that there are more than ladies out there who are looking for an inclusive group to ride with. Blacksheep’s intention with this group is for folks who identify as women or non-binary. Have any ideas for a name? Send them to Ruth or Nicki. We’d appreciate the help!
