We hope everyone had as much fun participating in the Race for the Cheese as we did watching. It was short and fast, and for XC#4 on Wednesday July 13th we will stick with that theme. The race will be an individual start Time Trial, taking place on the Blacksheep Classic Time Trial Route. Both race check-in and the start of the race will be up near Grand Chasm at the Shuniah Mines Race Starting Area. The Shuniah access off the Hwy will be open for Lambatuer racers/parents and volunteers. Everyone else should ride up from Kinsmen Park or from Balsam Street. Riders will be assigned a start time based on past results, and must start in order. Passing should be minimal, but expect to pass or be passed by 1-2 people.
– Sign-in and plate pick-up: 5:45 – 6:45pm (all racers must sign in). For everyone that has a plate you will be reusing it for this race.
– First start time is 7:00pm
– Must be a Blacksheep member to participate
– Free for Racing Members. $10/race for General Members. Maximum of 2 races on a general membership before a full racing membership is required

Lambateur Course
Lambateurs will be trying something new for this year’s time trial. They will be riding out the Balsam Connector from the shuniah starting area as a group then individually riding back down towards the entrance of Grand Chasm in their own mini time trial. The lambs will not be riding the entire Balsam Connector trail for the time trial portion of their race.
