The School of Outdoor Recreation, Parks and Tourism at Lakehead University conducted a study on fatbiking in the region last winter; the scope included first-hand fatbiking experience, interviews, surveying trail-users, in an effort to discover more about the culture of fatbiking, interactions with the trail-system, what can happen to improve the sport, and more. Professor Harvey Lemelin and the students involved will present their findings at the Urban Abbey at 7:00pm on Tuesday, November 26th. The event is free of charge; there will be snacks, door prizes, and interesting discussion, so it will be a night worth checking out! Hope to see you there.
