XC#7 UPDATE – original post below.
Please note the following important info and changes for XC#7.
- NO REGISTRATION on Wednesday. All riders must pre-register online by midnight on Tuesday. Please spread the word so everyone gets registered.
- START TIME IS 6:30. Lamb and MiniLamb will go first, at 6:30 sharp. Then the adult categories will go at 15 second intervals, roughly in order from fastest to slower (based on the last TT)
- We will post a start list on Webscorer on Wednesday morning and put a link on Facebook so that you can see your actual start time. This will allow people to arrive on site a bit later, depending on their start time so they don’t have to wait around so long before they start.
- HOWEVER, the course is closed at 6:45. So if you are starting later, you can not be warming up or preriding while the race is on.
- If you arrive and the race has already begun, your number plate and a list of names and numbers will be at the registration table for you to pick up.
- Lamb and MiniLamb are Mass Start, not individual.
- Remember, there is VERY limited parking at Shuniah. Unless you have young kids, please ride in from Kinsmen
- SCHEDULE:
- 5:15 – plate pick up opens
- 6:10 – Lamb and Mini PreRide
- 6:30 – Lamb/Mini Start (mass start)
- 6:35 – Pre-Race Briefing
- 6:45 (approx.) Start of Elite/Advanced/Sport (15 sec. intervals)
- Lamb course will be out the adventure trail, right onto PeekaBoo, left onto adventure trail, back up to the start.

Our seventh race of the season is this Wednesday, September 11th; an individual start time trial from the Shuniah Mines starting point (see map below for starting point location). Please park at Trowbridge and ride up to Shuniah Mines – parking at the Mines entrance is very limited, and we ask only those who TRULY NEED it to park there (ie. small children). DO NOT PARK ON HIGHWAY! DO NOT CROSS HIGHWAY! Ride from Trowbridge. It’s not that far, and it’ll make for a nice warm up.
Use our “Race Series” page on the website (under the Events tab) to register by Tuesday at midnight. Please arrive one hour before the race to pick up number plate and attend the pre-race briefing.
