Old Greg – PREMIERE

Good communities nurture their people. Great communities cross generations. “Old Greg” tells the story of how passion creates legacy’s, and how passing the torch can make it all worth while.

Dirt Magic | From Dying Mining Town to Mountain-Bike Mecca

Patagonia Films presents “Dirt Magic,” a @tetongravity and @freehubmag film documenting Downieville, CA’s journey from dying mining town to mountain-bike mecca. Inspired by a desire to save their home trails, shaped by a grassroot organization’s unintentional stewardship, and fueled by the sport’s rowdiest festival, Downieville’s newest dirt miners are using that reputation to create a model community for struggling mountain towns across the globe—and it all started with a van, a chainsaw, and a few maxed-out credit cards.

Born in the Backcountry

British Columbia’s Kootenay mountains contain some of the world’s most unforgiving—and beautiful—terrain. The peaks, ridges and valleys of the region are remote, extensive and rugged, creating the opportunity for a backcountry experience like no other. Less than four miles as the crow flies from Retallack Lodge lies Antoine Basin, a heavily mined, yet seemingly untapped valley, especially when it comes to trail building. Born from the Backcountry, a new film from Freehub Magazine, follows Thomas Vanderham, Veronique Sandler and the Retallack build crew as they spend a week camping and creating in this place of endless potential.

NOT2BAD

WHAT’S BETTER THAN ONE OF SOMETHING??? TWO OF SOMETHING.
One is less than two. Therefore logic dictates that two must be better than one. Faced with these indisputable facts, we realized that we needed to make a sequel. We’ve never made a sequel before. No one takes you serious in the movie business unless you make at least two of something – more is always better right? And this is serious business. Serious off-road bicycle riding business. So get ready for a whole lot of more. More deep thoughts. More X-treme. And more slow-mo – especially more slow-mo. Yeah… that sounds #notTWObad.
