We’ve got a lot happening in the next few weeks, so we wanted to give you a little rundown of the upcoming events, and latest happenings:
Race Updates
The XC #3 Time Trials were a hit! There were a number of logistics we had to tackle considering the number of registrations, so we apologize for a few of the hiccups with the timing. Results are now sorted out, and can be found in the links below:

XC #1 was rescheduled due to rain, so mark this in your calendars: XC #1 (Kinsmen Park, mass start, reverse course of XC #2) will be held on July 17 at 7:00pm. We will post a link for registration closer to the date; you will need to register again even if you registered for the original race.
Other Upcoming Events
This Saturday, June 22nd is the FinnFest kids race at Waverly Park! The Club has been invited to help host a youth mountain bike race as part of the celebrations. We have designated this as an OCA “Try” event, which means anybody age 13 and under is welcome to race, so be sure to invite your non-BlackSheep friends for a friendly showdown in Downtown PA!
Also this Saturday the 22nd is a Trail Development Day. Again, you don’t have to be Blacksheep Member, so gather your friends who use the trails and give back this weekend. It’s a refreshing and rewarding way to spend the morning. Note that we have relocated to meet at Kinsmen Park, not Shuniah Mines as is noted in the schedule. Meeting at 10:00am.
And lastly, remember that Tuesday, June 25th is another Women’s Group Ride, meeting at 6:00pm at Kinsmen Park. Should be a blast – the trails are riding so good!

And this is just a fun little update to let you know that we have hit 300 members this season! Thank you to all who are involved, whether as a member or a volunteer or both, and thank you for your understanding as we cope with some of the growing pains that come with the trajectory we’re on! Yeeeew!!
